to the City of London This walk takes us through 2000 years of City history from the founding on the Roman city of Londinium to the modern financial centre London is today. We will see the City's tranquil churches and parks and its busy thoroughfares and fnd out about some of the people who have formed the City since its beginnings in 43AD and the people steering it now. The links below have sample materials for a preparatory class before the walk and follow up after the walk has been completed. The materials are by National Curriculum level. There are also samples of materials for use during the walk, and teachers notes. |
